I think it’s just the way the chapters have been. Put it like this, IMO, it would have been better if we got to see a few more pages of Hashirama vs. Madara instead of the flashbacks to Obito’s old days with his team. Not saying to replace all of the flashbacks with it, but enough of it, and in a way that wouldn’t make the chapter too inchoerent/all over the place. Dragging it out for the sake of dragging it out is probably the only thing that would possibly make me lose interest in the manga. I think I’m pretty patient, so if that happens, wow.

We saw he was an idiot because he wanted attention due to being lonely. We also know he had potential to do much better if he wanted to, and that he didn’t because of what he prioritized. Obito just looks like an idiot through and through.
