I want to buy this so hard, but even with the Shinigami crippled, none of the Sternritter managed to kill a Captain by themselves, even the ones with the stolen Bankai, so dominate isn’t really the right word. It’s like the Sternritter were just there to bully some of the Captains, push them down and take their ball away, saying “You’ll get more of the same next time.” and just up and leaving without killing anyone that was an actual threat(not counting Yama). The Sternritter lost more combatants than the Captains(not counting fodder Shinigami).  Sure, yeah, their spirits were broken after the death of the CC, but they got back on the horse and prepared for the next invasion. Which Bach apparently expected them to do anyway! They wouldn’t have had to worry about them developing a new fighting style if the Sternritter actually did what they came there to do and purged the Shingami instead of putzing about acting threatening but never killing anybody of worth. I understand not showing your full hand, but even with that large of an advantage they still failed. Which is why I think that whole entire first invasion was just a large convoluted plan to steal only Yamamoto’s bankai. In hindsight, with the return of this revelation, that whole first invasion seemed like a great waste of resources and men for the Sternritter for one, albeit, extremely powerful, bankai and kill. Bach wants to test everyone it seems for no reason except to say “I knew they’d make that grade.” While he chuckles to himself on his throne and give his brain a high five for being so smart and savvy.

Gotta give it to Kubo, his innovation for creating a lack of action that allows characters to avoid injury is absolutely astounding.  I really think that Shinji’s shikai can still be used in the fight and would be really effective. How about Komamura? After he’s conversation and probably fight with his Gramps might have gained a new mask? i mean powe. I hope he can be useful now and fight that girl 1 on 1 so Shinji can fight better opponents. Ichigo coming? for what? we just need kenpachi to know how to go out of that underground and wipe the floor with the sternritters’ rears.

I know that Bambietta vs Komamura’s is going to happen in a 100% by now, and Komamura might ask Shinji not to butt in. Specially cuz ‘doggie’s gotta show us what he learnt from his elders. But yeah, i’m so wanting to see them vizards going bankai already on the quincies.

What if the hybrid has a glaring weakness that could be exploited? Given what hollows did to Quincies, Aizen probably thought that the weakness could affect teh shinigami-Quincy hybrid. If such thing is possible in the first place. I’m guessing shinigami-hollow is possible given what hollows are, unlike human Quincies. There’s also a likelihood that Aizen had no respect for Quincies or their power. Regarding Hollows eliminating souls completely. that’s very interesting!!! After all, a bog-standard Gillian is comprised of hundreds of Hollows and yet has no individuality; this implies that when the Hollows devour each other, they actually destroy each other as well in a similar manner to the Quincies. In other words, a bog-standard Gillian is basically a mass of Hollow reiatsu without a soul controlling it. Of course, there is also the case where one of the Hollows comprising its body manages to survive and take control of it, producing a Gillian with the potential to evolve. Again, this comes back to my theory of Shinigami and Quincy being polar opposite halves of a Hollow; Hollows seem to have traits that are displayed in both Shinigami (e.g. having individual powers, using internal spirit energy .etc.) and Quincies (e.g. having the ability to absorb/consume external spirit energy, completely destroying souls .etc.). Hollows, who have all of these traits, are the opposite to ordinary Humans, who have none of these traits. Shinigami possess half of these traits, whereas Quincies possess the other half of these traits.

Perhaps the only reason why it was worth trying to steal his Bankai, while Vizards not (well it’s not like they had the chance to use it, since Shinigami quickly forbid themselves from using it after to what happened to the young captains), is because of his Quincy and Human heritage beside the one of Shinigami and Hollow.

The reason why Quincy don’t have antibodies for Hollows, might be because Quincy might have existed even before Hollows appeared. They might have slept in similar manner like Bach, until they awakened in the world of the current SK. Maybe it’s more simple, like the Balancers (or whatever was the actual real term for the Shinigami) at the time of the previous SK did a better job of keeping the world clean of Hollows and thus Quincy never needed to develop those antibodies in the first place. The fact that Quincy have the ability to hibernate for so long is a bit strange in itself.

Then again karin and yuzu do not seem to have inner hollows themselves which would make them human/quincy/shinigami hybrids which should prove to be an issue. So perhaps urahara did inset a bit of hollow into them? Or maybe white did not fully transfer to ichigo and karin and yuzu did manage to get some hollow from her in some form or context.

Aizen was brought infront of C46 and they were the ones who passed on the imprisonment scentence.Shunsui would certainly know about Aizen’s location, Since he is the Captain commander. C46 might’ve informed about Aizen’s location,when they made him the CC, if he wasn’t aware of it. I doubt that Unohana,as a Senior captain, doesn’t know about Aizen’s location (If it’s not a common knowledge and only a few people are aware of it,Unohana would be in those few people). Aizen is bondaged right now and cannot move, So i guess it’s ok for Unohana and Zaraki to battle there, a little far away from where Aizen is located. I don’t know about the damage they caused though.

The R&D could not trace her reiatsu, that’s why Omaeda received the pill.  I just realized something: Soi Fon wont regain her Bankai back. Instead Omaeda will be having his Bankai enhanced by the pill! I think it was mostly yamamotos OP bankai that placed him in more elevated position then the RG, but the RG in their base are far stronger then yamamotos base form, that is what it seems to me, also even if all this is right then yama is not on another level form the RG, he would just be a little more OP then them, having his bankai does not mean he can beat all 5 RG single handedly, it seems to me the porpouse of the first invasion was either just to cause a ruckus and steal yamas bankai, or it was something else we dont know about yet.
